Garden Party

This past Sunday May 5, Carolyn Castaño welcomed a group of artists to her 

Solano Canyon  garden. It was the first in a series of collaborative "drawing" 

events for our curatorial project Garden Party.

During the sessions artists are free to interpret the idea of plein air 

by drawing, painting, taking photographs, collage, making cuttings, or simply 

hanging out for the day. The events will culminate in a catalog and 

exhibition at the Fellows of Contemporary Art this September.
