I'm a huge fan of Lee Mullican's paintings.
The current show at Marc Selwyn Gallery is a great collection of his works from the 50's.

You can also check out Lee Mullican's work in a book called An Abuntant Harvest of Sun that was published by LACMA a few years ago. It features images of the full range of his artwork and also studio and exhibition photos as well as images of Mullican's collection of Native American Art.
