to see some work in-progress.

New in the Studio

I've been busy in the studio continuing the series I've been thinking of as exploding suns

 and also doing some experimenting with taking a break from the rectangle

and also getting started on a new collaboration with Jennifer Parry Dodge of Ermie.

Here's a few quick snaps.

I gave Jennifer Parry Dodge some canvas and she has been dyeing it with cochineal 

and indigo. Next week I will start working on it in my studio. I've been working 

with raw canvas for years, leaving a lot of the canvas exposed, 

so this will be interesting to have a new surface to work into. Below are a

few in-progress shots Jennifer sent me. Stay tuned to see how it turns out.

Studio visit with Gabi Ferrer

I went to visit Gabi Ferrer recently at her studio in Echo Park to

discuss a print project. In addition to collaborative printmaking 

projects, Gabi has a variety of series going - including collections 

of photos, ceramic whistles and drawings.
