The Garden Party continued on Sunday with a visit to the Huntington.

The Golden Peacocks!
The Golden Peacocks have been rocking LA with recent gigs
at the Silverlake Lounge and LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division)
as part of artist Fay Ray's residency Come as You Are.
With a new animation by Melanie Nakaue it was a super fun event.
Fay Ray has other interactive art experiences planned all week.

Garden Party
This past Sunday May 5, Carolyn Castaño welcomed a group of artists to her
Solano Canyon garden. It was the first in a series of collaborative "drawing"
events for our curatorial project Garden Party.
During the sessions artists are free to interpret the idea of
plein air
by drawing, painting, taking photographs, collage,
making cuttings, or simply
hanging out for the day. The events will culminate in a catalog and
exhibition at the Fellows of Contemporary Art this September.
